JIMPSY TERMS OF SERVICE
1. About Us
This website is operated by Jimpsy LTD, trading as Jimpsy. Throughout these terms, “Jimpsy”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Jimpsy LTD.
These terms govern the use of jimpsy.com and consumer purchases made through our website.
2. Placing an Order
To place an order, select your products, add them to your basket and complete checkout. You can review and correct your order before submitting payment.
Please ensure that your contact details, delivery address and order information are accurate. You must be authorised to use the payment method provided.
After checkout, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance. Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, when we send an email confirming dispatch.
If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you and refund any payment taken for the affected products. Reasons may include unavailable stock or unsuccessful payment.
Orders and contracts are processed in English. Please retain your order emails and a copy of these terms for your records.
3. Products and Descriptions
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications and images accurately represent the goods offered.
Colours may appear differently depending on your screen settings. Product packaging may vary from the images shown, but this will not affect the agreed product specifications or your right to receive goods matching their description.
Please review product dimensions, capacity, compatibility and care requirements before ordering. Contact us if you require further information.
Our household and kitchen products are intended for domestic use unless the product description expressly states otherwise.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes. Any delivery charges will be shown before you place your order.
The payment methods available for your purchase are displayed at checkout.
Prices may change before an order is placed. Changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.
If we identify a pricing or product-description error before accepting your order, we will contact you with the correct information. You may choose whether to proceed or cancel for a full refund. We will not charge an increased price without your agreement.
Promotional offers are subject to the conditions displayed with the offer. Those conditions will not be changed retrospectively for an accepted order.
5. Delivery
We deliver to eligible addresses within the United Kingdom. Available delivery options, charges and estimated times will be displayed before checkout is completed.
Goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you or a person you nominate to receive them. Ownership passes once we have received full payment and delivery has taken place.
If you notice an error in your delivery address, contact us promptly. Where redelivery is required because you supplied an incorrect address, we will explain any reasonable additional charge before arranging it.
6. Order Changes and Cancellation
To request a change or cancellation, email support@jimpsy.com as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to amend or stop an order before dispatch. Once dispatched, changes may no longer be possible, but your cancellation and return rights remain available.
You have a legal right to notify us of cancellation within 14 days after delivery, followed by another 14 days to return the goods.
To exercise this right, send us a clear statement identifying your order and confirming that you wish to cancel.
7. Returns and Refunds
Our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy explains the return procedure, product-condition requirements, refund timescales and responsibility for return costs.
Please email support@jimpsy.com to obtain the appropriate return instructions. Do not send goods to our business address unless instructed by our team.
Customers pay the direct return costs for change of mind returns. Jimpsy covers reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged, incorrect or mis-described goods.
Return instructions help us process your request and do not make statutory cancellation rights dependent on prior approval.
8. Faulty Goods and One-Year Warranty
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and match their description. If a product fails to meet these requirements, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under UK consumer law.
New Jimpsy products purchased through jimpsy.com include a one-year warranty from delivery, covering manufacturing faults during normal domestic use. Full coverage, exclusions and claim instructions are set out in our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy.
To report a fault, email support@jimpsy.com with your order details and a description of the issue.
Our one-year warranty does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
9. Product Use and Safety
Please follow the operating, installation, cleaning and maintenance instructions supplied with your product.
Do not continue using a product that appears damaged or unsafe. Contact us for assistance.
Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage or failure to follow reasonable instructions may fall outside warranty coverage. This does not remove your rights in relation to an unrelated manufacturing fault.
10. Website Use
You must not use our website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with its operation.
Where reasonably necessary to protect the website or prevent misuse, we may restrict access. This will not remove your rights relating to an existing purchase.
If you create an account, keep your login details confidential and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.
11. Intellectual Property
Website content, including Jimpsy branding, text, photographs and graphics, is owned by Jimpsy LTD or used with permission.
You may view, save and print content for personal use, including retaining information about your purchases. Commercial copying, distribution or use requires permission from the relevant rights holder.
12. Personal Information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit our website, place an order or contact us.
Information about cookies and similar technologies is provided in our cookie information and website consent controls.
13. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a product or service, please email support@jimpsy.com, including your order number, the nature of your complaint and the resolution you are seeking.
We will investigate and explain the proposed outcome. If we cannot resolve the complaint, we will provide information about any applicable alternative dispute resolution arrangements.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms for future website use and purchases. The version in effect when you place your order will apply to that order unless a change is required by law or expressly agreed with you.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply where they can operate fairly and independently.
